How to Make a Thankful Tree
Step 1: Draw and Cut the Tree
Start with a sheet of brown construction paper.
Using a pencil, draw a large tree trunk with several branches spreading upward. Give the branches different shapes and directions to make the tree look natural.
Carefully cut along the outline of the tree using scissors.
Step 2: Cut Out the Tree and add the title
Take a sheet of light-colored paper and glue the cut-out tree onto it.
At the top of the paper, write “I’m Thankful For” using a marker.
This will turn the paper into a gratitude display where all the thankful leaves can be added around the tree.
Step 3: Make and Arrange the Leaves
Now it’s time to add some colorful autumn leaves to your tree!
