Fall apple picking craft for kids (with free printable template)
Fall apple craft for toddlers, preschoolers and older kids using free printable template
Apple picking is one of the activities people like to do during the fall season. So we thought why not do apple picking at our own home?
It’s easy, convenient, and will be a fun craft for kids too. You don’t need a lot of supplies also – just basic craft supplies at home, and yes – a printer to print the free template out.
So why don’t we get started?
Before moving onto the craft, we would appreciate it very much if you will check out our Youtube channel and subscribe to it. We upload new easy craft tutorials every week there. Thank you!

Step 2: Do coloring
Give color to the basket. And cut the basket out.
Now, we need to stick the basket to another letter-size paper. But be careful to not stick it fully. We need to leave certain parts out when applying the glue and sticking the basket so that we can put the paper apples in the basket later.
Therefore, draw three shapes exactly like how you see in the above pictures onto the backside of the paper basket cutout.
And apply glue only inside the three shapes.
Now, stick the paper basket onto the letter size paper. We inserted a ruler to make sure there is a gap between the basket and the letter size paper to insert paper apples.
Step 3: Put the apples inside the basket
Now, take the template with apple pictures and make kids color the apples. Cut each apple out.
Now, let’s draw a handle for the basket first using a pencil and then outline using a black marker and color inside. Now it’s time to pick apples and put them inside the basket.
