Materials Required:
- Origami paper or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Googly eyes (optional)
How to make an octopus out of paper
Get all the materials ready.
Next, we are going to cut a rectangular piece to make the octopus’ head.
For that, mark 10 cm of length on the paper.
And 4 cm as breadth.
Now, cut 8 rectangular paper pieces to make the octopus’s legs, as shown in the picture above.
Now, take the bigger rectangular piece and stick the end to each other as shown in the above pic.
Now, attach the legs one by one to the octopus’ head. Make sure you stick the legs from inside.
Draw cute eyes or stick googly eyes if you have them handy.
Now, fold all the legs of the octopus one by one.
Curl the ends of the legs to make them look more natural. And the paper octopus is ready!
Isn’t it easy?
