Step-by-step tutorial to make the popsicle stick leprechaun
Step 1: Make the leprechaun beard using craft sticks

Take 8 medium-sized craft sticks.

Arrange the craft sticks in a row, but adjust the height to form the shape of a beard as shown in the above pictures. Keep the sticks as close to each other as possible without leaving a gap in between.
Stick the set of sticks together using cello tape. We didn’t use hot glue to stick here as we didn’t want to form any gap between the sticks.
We used the cello tape only on one side and left the other side clean so that it could be used as the front part.

So after sticking, flip the popsicle stick beard over so that we have the cleaner part to do the rest of the craft.

Now let’s give the finishing touch to the leprechaun’s beard. Using paint, paint the lower part of the sticks so that you create an orange beard shape.
Step 2: Make the leprechaun’s hat using construction papers

To make the leprechaun hat, take a dark green colored construction paper.
Now, we need the measurements for the hat. You can measure it by placing the paper on top of the leprechaun’s beard.
Or see the picture below to see the exact measurements we took in centimeters. You can adjust the width of the hat brim according to the size of the popsicle sticks you use.

Cut the hat out.

To make the leprechaun hat buckle, cut out black and golden colored papers and stick them just above the brim of the hat. If you don’t have golden paper, you can use yellow color too.
The hat is done, and the next step is to make the head of your leprechaun.
Step 3: Make the head of the leprechaun

If you have wiggly eyes in stock, you can use that. Here, what we did is, to draw the leprechaun’s eyes and mouth and we cut them out.

As the final step, put all the parts together. That is, stick the leprechaun hat above his face, and stick the eyes and the mouth.

And our Popsicle stick leprechaun is ready!
