How to make a paper plate snow globe
Step 1: Gather the materials

Start by gathering all the materials you will need to make your paper plate snow globe.
You will need a paper plate, blue paint, green, light green, white, brown, black, red, and yellow construction paper, a paintbrush, pencil, black marker, orange marker, scissors, glue, and small colorful and white thermocol balls.
Once everything is ready, you can begin creating your winter scene.
Step 2: Paint the paper plate

Take the paper plate and paint the entire inner surface blue using a paintbrush.
Make sure to cover the plate evenly with paint. Leave it aside and allow it to dry completely.
Step 3: Prepare the Christmas tree and snowman pieces

Take the construction papers and draw the shapes needed for your snow globe scene.
- On green paper, draw and cut out a Christmas tree shape.
- On light green paper, draw and cut out a large oval for the ground.
- On white paper, draw and cut out two connected circles for the snowman’s body and head.
- On brown paper, cut out a small rectangle for the tree trunk.
- On black paper, cut out a small hat for the snowman.
- On red paper, cut out a thin strip for the snowman’s scarf.
- On yellow paper, cut out a small star for the top of the Christmas tree.
Keep all the pieces ready for the next steps.
Step 4: Arrange the winter scene

Take the large light green oval and glue it to the bottom part of the blue paper plate to create the ground.
Next, glue the green Christmas tree onto the left side of the oval. Then, attach the white snowman body on the right side of the tree.
Finally, stick the small black hat on top of the snowman’s head.
Step 5: Add details to the snowman and tree

Glue the small brown rectangle underneath the Christmas tree to make its trunk.
Next, attach the red scarf around the snowman’s neck. Use a black marker to draw the snowman’s eyes and mouth, and an orange marker to draw its nose.
Add a few black buttons on its body and draw stick hands on either side using the black marker.
Step 6: Decorate the Christmas tree

Add the small yellow star to the top of the Christmas tree.
Then, use colorful small thermocol balls to decorate the tree like little Christmas ornaments. Place them across the branches to make the tree look festive and bright.
Step 7: Add the falling snow

Take the small white thermocol balls and glue them around the blue background to create falling snow.
You can also add a few more white thermocol balls along the bottom of the plate to make the snowy ground look fluffy.

Your paper plate snow globe is done!
