Step 2: Trace the pot, flowers and leaves and cut them out

Place the pot template on a sheet of colored paper and trace the outline using a pencil.
Turn the craft paper over to check that the outline has transferred clearly. Following the outline, carefully trace the pot shape using a pencil.
After tracing, fold the paper along the center line so the pot shape sits evenly on both sides of the fold. This helps the fold fall exactly in the middle, creating a symmetrical flower pot with matching top and bottom halves when cut.
Now, carefully cut out the pot shape following the traced lines.

Cut along the outline and keep the fold line in the middle so the pot can open and close.

Apply glue along the side edges of the pot piece.
Press the sides together gently so the pot forms a small pocket where the flower stems will go later.

Now let’s move on to the flowers. Trace the flower shapes from the template onto different colored craft papers and cut them out.
Cut several thin strips from green paper for the stems and cut small leaf shapes as well.
Step 3: Assemble the flowers and pot

Glue the green stems and leaves onto the flower pieces.
Continue assembling flowers in different colors until you have a small flower pot ready.
Add small center circles to the flowers if you like to give them more detail.
Arrange the flowers together and place the stems inside the pot pocket to see how the flower pot will look.
Step 4: Trace and cut out the speech bubble shape

Cut out the speech bubble message shape from the template.
Write a sweet message inside, such as “I Love You”, or “You’re the best”.
Glue the message bubble onto the front of the pot and decorate it with small paper hearts.
Finally, cut a small strip of paper and glue it along the top edge of the pot. Then place the flowers inside to complete your cute flower pot.

Your lovely flower pot craft is now ready! The bright flowers and sweet message make it a thoughtful, handmade gift that anyone would love to receive.
Kids will enjoy seeing their colorful flower pot come together, and each pot turns out a little different depending on the flower colors they choose.
It is a simple craft, but it creates a beautiful little keepsake filled with love.
